Sandy Cape is a great spot to visit or stay with the whole family with 78 @ 2WD campsites, BBQ and picnic areas. Dump point and not potable water source
There is a full time caretaker who will happily help with questions on arrival and collect fees. As you arrive at sandy cape there is an information post, here you will find the honesty box for payment of camping fees. Areas to the north and south of the campsite area are all part of the Land Reserve #19062. Fees apply across this whole area. Fees can be paid to the care taker or in the honesty box. You must keep your receipt; Rangers do patrol this area regularly, .Cost $20.00 per night for 2 adults 2 children $3 per additional adults
Campers to the north and south of the main Sandy Cape camping area must have their own power sources, drinking water, wastewater containers and toilet facilities.
Camp fires permitted from 2nd April (excluding Easter) to 19th September. Fires must be contained in a fire pit (BYO Wood)
During Peak Periods it is not uncommon, for Sandy Cape to fill up fast. Please be prepared with a Plan B if you are coming during these periods.
