CERVANTES COUNTRY CLUB
Open to members, locals, and visitors seven five days a week, (Wed-Sun and extended during holiday periods and long weekends), the Cervantes Country Club provides a laid-back relaxing friendly atmosphere, restaurant, and Sports bar, with added sporting facilities on site. Our community hub is a great place to meet with friends, watch a game on large screen Foxtel enabled T.V.’s, and enjoy lunch or dinner in our friendly and relaxed dining area. Cervantes Country Club was established in 1974 we have been supporting Cervantes’ local sports clubs and the community ever since. Bookings are recommended especially during peak periods. CERVANTES RECREATION CENTRE
A multi-purpose facility available for hire and use by community groups and individuals. Boasting a fully functional kitchen, basketball court/display area and atrium overlooking the football oval. Home of the Cervantes Arts Festival and other notable civic events, it’s a perfect venue for Weddings, Parties, Anything. Also controls the overflow caravan parking on all Public Holiday

COUNTRY WOMAN'S ASSOCIATION
Cervantes boasts a highly active chapter of the iconic Country Women’s Association bringing together a large group of local like-minded ladies to support our community, and other worthy causes. Meeting 2nd Fri of the month at 1.30p.m, visitors and friends are always welcome

LADIES CRAFT GROUP
Local ladies getting together for fellowship and helping the local community with their crafts, catering, singing and support. Meets every Tuesday for activities.
CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
The Cervantes Chamber of Commerce represents the commercial interests of businesses within our community. Primarily concerned with the promotion of economic activity by encouraging government and other stakeholders in the provision of infrastructure and services that enhance the experience of the Cervantes lifestyle.
RATE PAYERS PROGRESS ASSOCIATION
Local residents meet on a regular basis to discuss and promote all aspects of social, cultural, and infrastructure needs of the community. Notable examples of the works undertaken by this group (often in conjunction with other community groups) include the provision of shade shelters over the play-equipment in the Aragon Street park, the skate park adjacent to the Recreation Centre, and the development of Tranquillo Park opposite the commercial centre in the middle of town.

PINNACLES EXPRESS
A local newsletter produced by a group of volunteers on a fortnightly rotation, informing the community and visitors of events and issues arising within the community. On sale at the Newsagency. Service Station, and General Store for $1.00. Submissions for publication are always welcome and can be lodged in the box provided at the Newsagency.

HISTORICAL SOCIETY
Formed by a like-minded group of residents who were concerned that the short, but important history of Cervantes and it’s surrounds was not being preserved and could therefore disappear, the Cervantes Historical Society has compiled an amazing catalogue of photographs, stories, and artefacts from the 50 or so years of the settlement of Cervantes.
The society operates a small but fascinating museum situated at the commercial centre. Manned by volunteers, primarily on weekends, but also open by appointment. Well worth a visit if you have an interest in our town and how it has prospered.

CERVANTES CULTURE COMMITTEE / CERVANTES ARTS
The creative aspects of life in Cervantes is fostered by the Cervantes Cultural Committee whose impressive bi-annual Cervantes Art Show is a much-anticipated event throughout the region. Showcasing local, regional, and state artists and crafts people, this event is truly remarkable. (See a photographic record of previous Art Festivals at www,cervantesartfestival.com.au Funds raised through this and other activities are recycled into community based public art with the most prominent being the sculptures adjoining Cervantes Road.

ROAR BY THE SHORE
An annual exhibition (generally held in October) of classic, vintage, and unique motor vehicles held on the town oval and incorporation tractor races, competitions, stalls and all the fun of the fair. Hundreds of vehicles are displayed for the enjoyment and amazement of visitors and motor-heads.
CERVANTES MEN'S SHED
The Central West Men's Shed is open for projects 10am each Tuesday. Situated at 12 Madrid Street, Cervantes (opposite the Lobster Shack). New members and visiting ‘Shedders’ are very welcome. The Men’s Shed produce and sell a range of baskets, doormats, recovery mats, and craypots as fundraisers. Contacts below, or details on the notice board outside the newsagency. CERVANTES FIN FISHERS
Formed by a group of enthusiastic deep-sea fishers the Cervantes Fin Fishers hold regular open and close competitions, especially over long-weekends and holiday periods.

NAMBUNG MUSIC MUSTER
One of Western Australia’s premier country music festivals held in October each year. Featuring prominent local and interstate artists in the setting of a working cattle station. Camping and caravan facilities are provided over the four days of the festival.
